• After breakfast, departing for Bay of Pigs, biggest swamp in Cuba and in the Caribbean main land, located in the Matanzas province. • Bay of Pigs area used to be one of the most isolated regions of Cuba until 1959. There were investments at the beginning of the 60´s to communicate this region with the rest of Cuba and Havana. Main dedication of inhabitants of this region, made of farmers, campesinos was production of charcoal. • You will visit the Boca de Guamá where there is a breeding farm for conservation of Cuban Specie of Crocodile name Rhombifer. Here also happened the invasion in 1961 of a military army of Cuban exiles supported by CIA with the aim to overthrow the Cuban regime led by Fidel Castro. This military action last 72 hours, the invasion was defeated and the invaders surrendered to the government army. • After breakfast, check out and depart to Cienfuegos City, also a Cuba world heritage City as well as Trinidad and Havana. • Knows Cienfuegos City, best known by local Cubans as the “Pearl of the South”. This city was founded by French settlers in 1819 who came from Louisiana, nowadays one of state of United States of America. From there the city capture its European style which has been preserved up to know, a very refined City perfectly structured. Cienfuegos was built on the side of a pretty bay. In Cienfuegos was discovered biggest coral reef in Cuba which was baptized as “Notre Dame” in honor of Notre Dame Church in Paris, France. • Visit the center of Cienfuegos City at Martí Park walking through the park until reaching amazing building of Tomas Terry Theatre and Cathedral of the Purest Concepcion; also discover one of the few “Arch of Triumph” relics existing in Cuba. • Lunch in a local restaurant included. • Visit the most significant baroque building in Cienfuegos and in Central Cuba: Palacio del Valle; also visit the Nautical club, going through the Central Alameda very active promenade in the City of Cienfuegos. • Continuation to Havana which you will reach early evening. • Check in at Hotel Panorama 4*, accommodation with breakfast included.
