Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok(Bagdogra Airport/NJP

• Your Darjeeling Gangtok tour starts with your arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. From here, you will be transferred to Gangtok. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax • Gangtok Travel Time from NJP/Bagdogra: 5 hours (approx.) • The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can explore nearby attractions. Later, return to the hotel for a restful sleep

Day 2: Full Day Gangtok Sightseeing

• Wake up to a hearty breakfast and embark on a sightseeing tour of Gangtok. You will be heading towards the popular Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. • Tsomgo Lake – This beautiful glacial lake holds spiritual significance. A Shiva Temple also stands on the bank of the lake • Baba Mandir – Also known as Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, the temple was constructed to commemorate an army martyr - Major Harbhajan Singh. It is believed that his spirit protects them • Post that, return to Gangtok. In the evening, you can go shopping at MG Road and Lal Bazaar. You can buy wall paintings, carpets, tea, Sikkim’s traditional dress, etc • By evening, return to your hotel and sleep restfully

Day 3: Visit Scenic & Religious Attractions of Gangtok

• Greet your day with a toothsome breakfast and start with another sightseeing tour of Gangtok. You will explore • Tashi Viewpoint - Best known for enjoying the changing colors of the Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu Peaks as the sun moves from here. Catch glimpses of famous monasteries - Phodong and Labrang. • Ganesh Tok – A small temple atop the hill that offers breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga. • Banjhakri Falls - Surrounded by lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens, this is a relaxing place • Do-Drul Chorten – This is among the most prominent stupas in Sikkim. It has 108 Mani Lhakor (prayer wheels) engraved with the mantras. • Research Institute of Tibetology - Established in 1958, the institute was initially known as the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. It aims at the promotion of research into Mahayana (a Buddhist sect) as well as Tibetan language and culture. • Directorate of Handicrafts & Handlooms (Institute of Cottage Industries) - Home to hand-woven Tibetan carpets, blankets, shawls, and Sikkimese wooden tables (Choktse). It produces and promotes the state's traditional arts and crafts and teaches the Sikkim’s ancient crafts as well. • Chorten and Orchid sanctuary - A colossal Chorten, whose gold apex is can be seen from various points in Gangtok. The orchid sanctuary has most of the 400+ species of orchid, native to Sikkim, as per the season. • In the evening, return to the hotel for a sound sleep.

Day 4: Arrival in Darjeeling

• Distance from Gangtok to Darjeeling: 115 km Travel Time: 4 hours (approx.) • Wake up to a scrumptious breakfast and complete the check-out formalities. Today, you will be transferred to Darjeeling. • Here you also have the luxury of exploring its beauteous surroundings on the UNESCO acclaimed Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, famous as the toy train. • On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel, and relax. The rest of the day will be free, so you can spend it at your leisure. • When the night falls, slip into your cozy bed at the hotel for a refreshing sleep.

Day 5: Full Day Darjeeling Tour

• Wake up early in the morning and start your day afresh with a trip to Tiger Hill. Being the highest point of Darjeeling, Tiger Hill offers some of the best sights of the Himalayas, good to be visited early in the morning. Day 6: Bid Bye to Darjeeling and Gangtok

• This is the last day of the Darjeeling Gangtok tour package. Pack your bags and post breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will have an assisted transfer to the New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra airport for your journey back home.
